Randolph is 0-4 against Jourdanton since February of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Ro-Hawks will host the Indians/Squaws at 4:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
Randolph got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. Everything went their way against Poteet as they made off with a 9-3 victory.

Raelynn Fowler made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in February. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Elizabeth Landreth was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one home run and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February. Hadley Megeath was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jourdanton). They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over Carrizo Springs on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Indians/Squaws, who have now won four contests in a row.
Jourdanton got a massive performance out of Bobbiejo Gonzales, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Martinez, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI.
Jourdanton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .708. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Jourdanton pushed their record up to 11-13 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.2 runs on average over those games. As for Randolph, their victory bumped their record up to 8-13.
Randolph might still be hurting after the 10-0 defeat they got from Jourdanton when the teams last played back in March. Will the Ro-Hawks have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
