Sweeny's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Clinton Varner led the charge by scoring 12 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. The match was Varner's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kendrick Hernandez, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals.
The win got Sweeny back to even at 3-3. As for Kinkaid, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
