West Catholic is 7-0 against Comstock Park since October of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The West Catholic Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Comstock Park Panthers at 7:00 p.m. West Catholic will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
West Catholic put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season on Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-7 victory over Fruitport at home. With West Catholic ahead 51-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
West Catholic got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Charlie DeBruyn out in front who rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown. Carter Abram got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
West Catholic's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB seven times. Fruitport's QB won't forget Ethan Stoner anytime soon given Stoner sacked him seven times.
Meanwhile, Comstock Park was able to grind out a solid win over Newaygo on Friday, taking the game 25-18. The win was just what Comstock Park needed coming off of a 65-12 defeat in their prior contest.
West Catholic's victory was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.7 points. As for Comstock Park, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
