After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hampton County, the Allendale-Fairfax Tigers were happy to have found some success on Monday. They snuck past Ridgeland-Hardeeville with a 48-43 win.
When it comes to explaining why Ridgeland-Hardeeville lost, one person who can't be blamed is MJ Smith. Despite the final result, he scored 14 points along with 8 rebounds. Jordan Sander was another key contributor, scoring 6 points along with 3 steals.
Allendale-Fairfax's victory bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
Allendale-Fairfax will head out on the road to face off against Edisto at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeland-Hardeeville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Battery Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Battery Creek focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
