Bloomfield had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They came out on top against the River Dell Golden Hawks by a score of 72-62.

Several Golden Hawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dariel Liranzo, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 20 points and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, Liranzo now owns an excellent 40.9% three-point shooting accuracy. Iain Rossig was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to four steals and three blocks.

Bloomfield's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for River Dell, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-10.
