Temple Christian never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past the C.H. Friend Red Jackets 12-0. Considering the Crusaders have won eight games by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Reagan Hensley made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Temple Christian let Addison Camden and Alyssa Conner run wild. Camden went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Conner got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases Camden has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Bella Cooper, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Temple Christian pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for C.H. Friend, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.
As of now, neither Temple Christian nor the Red Jackets have any future games scheduled.
