The Golden Demons will take on the Alemany Warriors in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Monday at. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Tuesday, Golden really took it to Elizabeth for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-26 win at home. The victory was just what Golden needed coming off of a 63-21 defeat in their prior match.
Among those leading the charge was Allie Neal, who scored 22 points. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Carbone, who scored four points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Alemany was fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Agoura 79-17 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Alemany has managed all season.
The win got Golden back to even at 3-3. As for Alemany, the victory also got them back to even at 4-4.
