Flint Hill's batters probably weren't too happy with Jenna Keefer, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 15 Ks (she gave up zero walks).
At the plate, St. Catherine's let Kinnady Branch and Addie Hinson run wild. Branch went 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run, while Hinson went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave Hinson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Keira Frazier, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
St. Catherine's was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .407. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .310 or higher in six consecutive games.
Trinity Episcopal now has a winning record of 9-8. As for St. Catherine's, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.
Friday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Trinity Episcopal hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .348. However, it's not like St. Catherine's struggles in that department as they've averaged .380. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
