Even if they lost, Garland's defense still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Cade McCay refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself. Lemus got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Garland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rowlett, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
