Eldon is 0-10 against Blair Oaks since September of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Eldon is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
On Monday, Eldon narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Linn 3-2.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Eldon got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 16-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-8.
Jaidyn Shelden had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs and one assist.
Meanwhile, Blair Oaks didn't have quite enough to beat Battle on Monday and fell 3-2. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Spartans 25-11 in the first set.
Blair Oaks actually scored more points across those five sets (101-99), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 11-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-22, 15-13.
Blair Oaks' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Eldon, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
