The Twin Lakes Indians will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the West Lafayette Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. Twin Lakes will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
Two weeks ago, Twin Lakes greeted the New Year with with a 64-48 win over North Newton.
It was another big night for Jamison Ousley, who scored 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Businger, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, West Lafayette pushed their score all the way to 64 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Danville. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (61), West Lafayette still had to take the loss.
Twin Lakes' win bumped their record up to 9-3. As for West Lafayette, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.
Twin Lakes didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against West Lafayette when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 64-59 win. Does Twin Lakes have another victory up their sleeve, or will West Lafayette turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
