The Clinton Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Heritage Mountaineers at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Monday, everything went Clinton's way against Karns as Clinton made off with a 35-12 win.
Clinton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Camden Nelson led the charge by throwing for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Travian Bounds, who rushed for 64 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Heritage at home against William Blount back in September as the squad secured a 50-12 win.
Their wins bumped Clinton to 4-2 and Heritage to 1-1.
