The Chicago Vocational Cavaliers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 70-58 win over South Shore International on Tuesday. The victory was just what Chicago Vocational needed coming off of a 72-46 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Ron Thigpen, who scored 21 points. Another player making a difference was Emari Burks, who scored 12 points.
Chicago Vocational's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-11. As for South Shore International, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
Chicago Vocational will head out on the road to face off against Morgan Park at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Shore International, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Agricultural Science at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Agricultural Science is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
