Jamari Farmer Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Mooresville got the W thanks in part to Jamari Farmer playing the best football he has all season. Farmer picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Unfortunately for Providence, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Farmer. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Farmer saw the Panthers), he picked up three sacks and made 14 total tackles (6.0 for loss).

Johnson Came Up Big in South Iredell's 32-27 Victory
Tyler Johnson was instrumental in extending South Iredell's winning streak to three on Friday. Hickory Ridge had no answer to Johnson as he rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 170 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes. Johnson's longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Johnson and South Iredell will challenge Mooresville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Johnson will face off against Brody Norman, the Blue Devils' star QB. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Maddox Langley Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Friday, A.L. Brown got the W thanks in part to Maddox Langley playing the best football he has all season. Langley picked up 109 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made a tackle and defended two passes in addition to snagging an interception.
Langley and A.L. Brown will head out to face off against West Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Langley up against the Wolverines' star pass catcher Cesidio Castricone. The only thing left to do is find out who's the greater deep ball threat. You'll have to watch the game to know for sure.

A Season-Best Performance from Joell Wooten Leads Hickory Ridge over South Iredell
On Friday, Hickory Ridge had to settle for second even though Joell Wooten put up the best numbers he has all season. Wooten picked up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 50 yards.
Hickory Ridge is on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. Wooten and Hickory Ridge will challenge Lake Norman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mozes Morris Delivers Best Performance of Season
Lake Norman came up short on Friday despite Mozes Morris delivering his best game to date. Morris rushed for 111 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Morris might just drop another big game when he faces off against Hickory Ridge on Friday. When Morris last faced the Ragin' Bulls back in October of 2023, he rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown.
