The Jayhawk Linn Jayhawks were the 37-32 winner over the Northeast Vikings when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Jayhawk Linn lost to the Vikings at home by a decisive 62-43 margin on Tuesday. Jayhawk Linn has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Several Jayhawks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bryton Spencer, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacen Taylor, who scored five points along with six rebounds.
Jayhawk Linn dropped their record down to 4-9 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Northeast, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-7.
Jayhawk Linn will head out on the road to take on the Blu-Jays at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Pleasanton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday. As for Northeast, they will be playing at home against the Jets at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Kansas (Altoona-Midway is ranked 286th, while the Vikings are ranked 303rd).
