Even though the Kennedy Cavaliers have not done well against the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Kennedy walked away with a 73-62 win over Seneca Valley. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Seneca Valley still got an impressive performance from Bryan Sowell, who scored 26 points. Another player making a difference was Korey Trone, who scored 8 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
Kennedy's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Seneca Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy will take on Whitman at 7:15 p.m. on December 13th. As for Seneca Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Springbrook at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
