The Davenport Broncos scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Celebration with a sharp 77-53 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Davenport also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2022.
Despite the loss, Celebration still got an impressive performance from Andy Ndambo, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Ricardo Baro was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Davenport's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Celebration, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.
Davenport will square off against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Leesburg knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight games -- so hopefully the Broncos like a good challenge. Celebration is on the road again on Thursday and plays the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Poinciana presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Storm in Florida (the Eagles are ranked 145th, while the Storm are ranked 650th).
