The Westwood Cardinals extended their postseason success on Friday against the Bernards Mountaineers. They didn't even let the Mountaineers onto the board and left with a 17-0 victory. The win was just business as usual for Westwood, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Westwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Steve Klein, who rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown.
Westwood's win bumped their record up to 12-0. As for Bernards, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-1.
Westwood will face off against Rumson-Fair Haven at 5:00 p.m. on November 27th. Rumson-Fair Haven will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak. Bernards does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
