Coffee County Central has won five straight games at home (dating back to last season), while Loretto has won five straight on the road also dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Coffee County Central Red Raiders will host the Loretto Mustangs at 4:30 p.m. Coffee County Central will be strutting in after a win while Loretto will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Tuesday, Coffee County Central sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 victory over Rockvale. That's two games straight that the Red Raiders have won by just one run.

| 03/07/25 @ Smyrna | 5 |
| 04/25/24 @ Upperman | 5 |

| 04/22/24 vs Columbia Central | 3 |
Isaiah Deadman tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
At the plate, Colter Neel was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Pippenger, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Meanwhile, Loretto didn't have quite enough to beat Mars Hill Bible on Monday and fell 6-4.
Loretto saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grant Fisher, who went 1-for-4 with one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Fisher brought in this season.
Loretto's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Coffee County Central, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Coffee County Central has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Loretto struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Coffee County Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Loretto in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, winning 4-1. Does Coffee County Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Loretto turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
