Several Mustangs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lily Outland, who posted nine points and five boards. Orange County is 11-5 when McBrayer posts eight or more rebounds, but 2-4 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Tayla Johnson, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 17 points and six boards.
Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Orange County, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-9 record this season.
