Williamson is 1-9 against the Blue Panthers since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Williamson Marauders will head out on the road to challenge the Gananda Central Blue Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Williamson is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Last Wednesday, Williamson earned a 48-39 win over the Rams.
Meanwhile, Gananda Central waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They enjoyed a cozy 73-58 victory over Red Creek. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Gananda Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Caviness, who scored 19 points. Caviness is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last seven games he's played. Brayden Dohse was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Williamson's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Gananda Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.
Williamson was taken down by the Blue Panthers 69-42 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Can Williamson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
