Despite the loss, New Bloomfield still got an impressive performance from Jacob Fuhriman, who scored 18 points along with three steals. Nathan Fuhriman was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.
New Bloomfield struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only three offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
New Bloomfield has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Eugene, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 8-0.
New Bloomfield will take on Stover in a holiday battle at 12:00 p.m. on Friday at. Eugene won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mexico at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Mexico will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings (they are ranked 47th, while Eugene is ranked second).
