Vigor gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Saturday. They strolled past the Blount Leopards with points to spare, taking the game 21-6. Given the Wolves' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 31st, while the Leopards are ranked 111th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Vigor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 61-14 victory against Tuscaloosa County on the 29th. As for Blount, they have also already played their next game, a 46-0 defeat against Saraland on the 29th.
