Episcopal Academy has been on the road for four straight, but on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will finish 2023 at home by hosting the Radnor Raptors . One thing working in Episcopal Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
Episcopal Academy scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Shipley 69-55. Given Episcopal Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 161st, while Shipley is ranked 395th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Even though Radnor has not done well against Springfield recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Radnor sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 45-43 victory over Springfield.
Episcopal Academy now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Radnor, their win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.
Episcopal Academy skirted past Radnor 36-34 when the teams last played back in December of 2016. Will Episcopal Academy repeat their success, or does Radnor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
