It was another big night for Camden Montes, who scored 19 points for Spring Valley Academy. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for Montes. Another player making a difference was Noah Statts, who scored 18 points.
Jefferson Township's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-2. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 27.3 points per game. As for Spring Valley Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jefferson Township will be home for the holidays to greet Horizon Science Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Horizon Science Academy has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 188 points over their last three matches. As for Spring Valley Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome DePaul Cristo Rey at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. DePaul Cristo Rey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings (they are ranked 359th, while Spring Valley Academy is ranked 49th).
