The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Pittsfield has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why Pittsfield lost, one person who can't be blamed is Da'Sean Brown. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points. The match was Brown's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kyle Cardoso, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Pittsfield and nudges their season record down to 3-3. As for Colonie Central, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Pittsfield won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Guilderland at 4:30 p.m. on December 28, 2023. Guilderland is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Colonie Central, they will play host again and welcome Taconic, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Taconic will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 68th in Massachusetts, while Colonie Central is ranked fourth in New York).
