Everything went their way against the Apollo Hawks on Wednesday as Sunnyslope made off with a 17-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Hawks: they've now won nine in a row.
Bryn Daley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Daley was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Sam Hyde was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March of 2024. Peyton Udall also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Looking ahead, Sunnyslope will head out on the road to square off against Arizona College Prep at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Apollo, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Point at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Apollo will need to watch out since West Point has now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
