The Wildcats will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Seymour took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Archer City, who comes in off a win.
Archer City is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Olney 22-1 on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Wildcats with their most commanding win of the season.
Addison Canada 2027 was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

In other batting news, Addyson Peters 2026 was a standout: she scored four runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-5. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.3 runs per game. Another player making a difference was Alyssa Schroeder 2025, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Archer City was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .448. The last time their batting average was this high was back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Seymour was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against Electra, falling 14-2.
Seymour saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was J Rangel, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. M Garcia was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases.
Archer City has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-8 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Seymour, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-17.
