Silverado gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They blew past the Serrano Diamondbacks 76-25. With the Hawks ahead 40-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Serrano is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Silverado will take on Corona in a tournament on Saturday. As for Serrano, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Littlerock at 6:00 p.m. on December 1.
