The Goldwater Bulldogs lost against the Arizona College Prep Knights back in November of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Goldwater was dealt a 54-12 loss at the hands of Arizona College Prep. Goldwater has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Among those leading the charge was Jaylee Aulds, who scored 18 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 steals. Aulds is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Mariela Navarrete, who scored 8 points along with 4 steals and 4 blocks.
Goldwater's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Arizona College Prep, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Goldwater will challenge Apache Junction at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arizona College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Vista Grande at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
