Tornillo extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to six on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-5. They fell 54-46 to the Immanuel Christian Warriors. On the bright side, the 46- point performance marked the Coyotes' highest-scoring game to date.

As for Immanuel Christian, they pushed their record up to 4-6 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.9 points over those games.

Immanuel Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Alan Valenzuela out in front who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Valenzuela has scored at least a third of the Warriors' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jonny Figueroa, who went 5-for-7 on his way to 15 points and five steals.

Coming up, Tornillo will head out on the road to challenge Mountain View at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Immanuel Christian, they will square off against Varsity Opponent at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday.
