He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (and only one walk). Henderson was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 The  victory  got Fairview back to even at 3-3. As for Grand Junction,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-5.
 Fairview will be playing at home against Poudre at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Poudre is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9  runs per game this season. As for Grand Junction, they will head out on the road to  take on  Montrose at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Grand Junction is facing Montrose at the right time seeing as Montrose is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
