While Billings West put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Russell. The Golden Bears claimed a resounding 40-0 victory over the Rustlers. Considering the Golden Bears have won four contests by more than 31 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

CJ Johnson threw for 240 yards and three TDs. Elias Bonner was his top target, picking up 114 receiving yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Gabe Rosales rushed for 27 yards.

The win (which was Billings West's fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.3 points over those games. As for Russell, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Billings West will head out to face off against Skyview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Bears will be up against the Falcons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Russell, they will host Billings Senior at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rustlers will be up against the Broncs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39.2 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
