The Central School Pioneers lost against the Claiborne Academy Rebels on January 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Central School was beaten by the Rebels 64-10. Central School has not had much luck with the Rebels recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Central School saw an underclassman step up: Lola Doyal scored seven points.
Claiborne Academy was led to victory by Audrie Teutsch and Jaylee Baird. Teutsch scored 22 points, while Baird scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Baird has scored all season.
Central School's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Claiborne Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Northeast Baptist the next time they take the court. Claiborne Academy will head out to face Northeast Baptist at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Central School will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
