Escambia kept a clean sheet against Pensacola on Friday. They blew past the Pensacola Tigers 8-0. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Pensacola from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Lily Stringfellow led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Escambia has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five matchups. As for Pensacola, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Escambia and Pensacola will both be playing Pine Forest the next time they take the pitch. Escambia will host Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025, while Pensacola will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
