Lane Novy and Kody Edwards provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Wylie. The connection went for 90 yards, the longest such play in 4A Region II District 10 this season.
Highland Park was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to second in the league. The Scots defeated Sherman 49-7 earlier in the week.
Poteet's dynamic duo of Novy and Edwards proved tough for the Pirates to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Novy threw for 346 yards and 4 touchdowns and Edwards had 205 yards receiving. Lajarian Poole helped Poteet's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 74 yards.

Edwards was the best wideout in 4A Region II District 10 this week as Kody Groves' team topped the Pirates.
Novy put up the best numbers in passing as the Pirates defeated Wylie.
Terrell moved up to 618 from 673 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Tigers were able to make move up by losing to Mt. Pleasant 77-34.
