Notre Dame Prep came tearing into  Wednesday's  contest with six straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum.  In other batting news,  Abby Pitz and  Bella Canova did most of the damage at the plate:  Pitz  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, two  runs,  and one  triple, while  Canova  went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Rosie Galasso, who  went 1-for-3 with two  runs and two  RBI.
