In what's become a running theme this season, the Badger Braves gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 59-31 win over Pymatuning Valley. The victory was familiar territory for Badger who now have four in a row.
Leading Badger to victory were Gabriella Miller and Katie Grexa. Miller scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, while Grexa scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grexa has scored at least a third of Badger's points. Another player making a difference was Brianna Huscroft, who scored nine points.
Badger's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Pymatuning Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Badger will take on Hubbard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hubbard is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Pymatuning Valley, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Windham at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st.
