Colton-Pierrepont lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eric Friedel, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. Friedel is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Nate Smith was another key contributor, scoring 14 points.
Brushton-Moira now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Colton-Pierrepont, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brushton-Moira will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Peru at 7:15 p.m. on January 3, 2024. As for Colton-Pierrepont, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Lawrence Central at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully St. Lawrence Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
