On Thursday, Eminence lost to Bluegrass United on the road by a decisive 55-41 margin. While losing is never fun, Eminence can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 242nd, while Bluegrass United is ranked 57th).
Bluegrass United's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Grace Hanlon, who scored 19 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hanlon has scored at least 25% of Bluegrass United's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Piper Graham, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and six steals.
This is the second loss in a row for Eminence and nudges their season record down to 2-8. As for Bluegrass United, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.
