Hoover was out to avenge their 32-35 loss to Indianola from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Hoover found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 13-44 punch to the gut against Indianola on Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Hoover.
The defeat dropped Hoover's record to 0-2. The win bumped Indianola's record up to 1-0.
Hoover will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Des Moines North at 7:00 PM. Indianola will look to defend their home turf next week against Fort Dodge at 7:30 PM.
