This season hasn't been kind to the Midlands STEM Charter Mavericks, who are still winless after their fourth game. They suffered a tough 48-26 loss at the hands of Cambridge Academy on Friday.
Leading Cambridge Academy to victory were Maddox Lee and Andrew Wiley. Lee scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists, while Wiley dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Wiley has scored at least 25% of Cambridge Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Harvley, who scored six points.
Midlands STEM Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cambridge Academy, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Midlands STEM Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cambridge Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Our Lady of the Rosary at 7:00 p.m.
