Kokomo has gone a perfect 10-0 against Muncie Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Wildkats will challenge the Bearcats at 6:00 p.m. Muncie Central took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Kokomo, who comes in off a win.

Kokomo was handed a nine-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past Frankfort 5-4. The Wildkats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Kokomo let J.J. Gillespie and Harry Blake run wild. Gillespie got on base in six of his seven plate appearances with one double, while Blake went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Blake a new career-high. Eli Roe was another key player, getting on base in four of his seven plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Muncie Central challenged Yorktown on Monday. The Bearcats lost 12-1 to the Tigers. The Bearcats' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Muncie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Kokomo, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Muncie Central's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Kokomo has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Muncie Central, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 strikeouts. Will Kokomo keep running through batters, or will the Bearcats buck the trend?
