Prolific Prep (Napa, Calif.) has dealt with a lot of
turnover at the top over the past few seasons, featuring three different
head coaches in as many years. Coming
off the program's most successful season in which they went 31-3, the fifth-ranked Crew looks to an ultra-talented batch of newcomers to build on last year's top 10 finish.
Prolific
Prep expects to feature a starting five taller than many
NBA lineups with Mouhamed Gueye (7-0), Nathan Bittle (6-11), Adem Bona (6-9), Kamari Lands (6-8)
and Isael Silva (6-3).
While the chemistry might take time, the Crew showed at last month's Top Flight Invite they are as talented as any team in the country.
First-year head coach Mark Phelps brings plenty of experience to the position after spending 23 years at NCAA Division I programs, including
Arizona, Arizona State, Marquette, Missouri, Drake and North
Carolina State.
