Meanwhile, Papillion-LaVista South strolled past Gretna with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 39-20. Given Papillion-LaVista South's advantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while Gretna is ranked 157th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Millard North's victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Papillion-LaVista South, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Millard North against Papillion-LaVista South in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 71-39 victory.
