The McAdams Bulldogs''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their seventh straight loss. They fell 36-26 to Noxapater. McAdams has struggled against Noxapater recently, as their matchup on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Noxapater can attribute much of their success to Kaden Carter, who rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns. Carter was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 57 yards. Aj Robertson and his 84 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Noxapater's victory.
McAdams' defeat was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.6 points per game. As for Noxapater, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McAdams will square off against French Camp Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Noxapater is on the road again on Friday and play against Ethel at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
