Even though Federal Way scored an imposing 55 points on Tuesday, Tahoma still came out on top. Tahoma walked away with a 62-55 win over Federal Way. Given Tahoma's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Federal Way is ranked 109th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Dalton Brown, who scored 25 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Tahoma's points. Jayden Stephens was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, even though Sage Hill scored an imposing 60 points on Saturday, Orange Lutheran still came out on top. Orange Lutheran took their match against Sage Hill 70-60.
Tahoma's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Orange Lutheran, their win bumped their record up to 6-4.
