Boys Lacrosse: Tatnall Streak Snapped by St. Andrew's
Tatnall’s season has been an up and down ride. After a 2-0 start, the Hornets dropped four games in a row.
But coach Peter Duncan's squad responded favorably, putting together a six-game win streak, including recent triumphs of Great Valley (Pa.), Wilmington Friends, and Caesar Rodney.
The hot streak carried Tatnall into Tuesday's clash with St. Andrew's - a hot team in its own right as winners of five of its last six contests.

Senior Phil Valliant all but assured a victory by contributing four goals and three assists. Fellow senior Luke Walter and junior JaiVon Wesley both added a hat trick of their own in the impressive seven-point victory.
St. Andrew’s is now 8-6 on the season and will be tested again against undefeated Salesianum on Friday.
Tatnall will try to avenge an 8-7 loss to Tower Hill earlier in the season, when they face the Hillers for round two on Friday.

Senior Michael Reardon pitched a no-hitter as the Sals shutout Newark 3-0. Two of the Sals' runs came from pinch-hit RBI; a double by Matt Farr and a single from Brian Augsberger. The win improved Reardon’s record to 4-1 on the season.
Next up for the Sals was A.I DuPont (13-1). The Tigers' previous success did not seem to rattle the Sals as Salesianum cruised to a 12-1 win.
Chaz Enerio put a two-run homer over the fence, while Bill DeFeo and Reardon each added two RBI. Breidy Breidenbach gave up three hits and pitched a complete game as Salesianum won its fifth-straight game.
During the five-game stretch, Salesianum outscored its opponents 41-10.
Despite the Sals recent success, St. Elizabeth (9-8) was able to get the best of Salesianum on Tuesday May 6 as the Vikings came away with a 4-1 road victory.

St. E’s will face Tatnall on Tuesday, May 13 before finishing out the regular season against St. Andrews on May 17.
