Kennedy has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Swett Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Kennedy came up short against Concord and fell 58-50.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Desmond Johnson, who scored 13 points. Another player making a difference was Darion Adams, who scored 12 points.
Meanwhile, Swett was the victim of a rough 68-47 defeat at the hands of Albany on Friday. Swett has struggled against Albany recently, as their contest on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
The last time Kennedy won on the road was back last Tuesday. Having now lost four straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 2-5. As for Swett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
Kennedy came up short against Swett in their previous meeting back in January, falling 58-54. Thankfully for Kennedy, Darrien Russell (who scored 18 points along with 4 steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
