Talesha Gilmore continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Collinsville's points. Ella Guererro was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five assists.
Collinsville now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Waterloo, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Collinsville won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Alton at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. Alton has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 898 points over their last 14 matchups.
